Goodbye January

As we put the little one to sleep last night, I could stop thinking that its almost February.  January is the fresh start month. Everyone has their new year resolutions which they began to slip on right about now. I didn't make resolutions for this reason, instead I made a goal: Do Better.  I would like to do better than I did in 2010. It has been a little rough but things are getting better. Better health, being a better mommy, and being a better business woman are some of the things I have been working on. Let's see if the trend will continue. What are you doing better this year?

What I did this weekend

Since there was a snow storm this weekend, I decided to stay in and work on organizing my office space and getting a little work done.

Getting ready for spring

Currently I am getting ready for the year by overhauling my business. Meaning all new everything. The cold weather has helped me clean out my workspace and solidify all the new and fresh ideas I have. Look out for a lot of cool new things this year!

Out with the old: New Year, New Blog

I have a long list of New Year's Resolutions for my business and one of them is to start blogging more. I had a previous blog with the same name but over the years I have become less web and tech savvy so I deleted it. Basically, this means I could change it to how I wanted it to look. I am completely starting fresh. My name is Jameka and I am a designer. I live in Chicago with my husband, Chris and our beautiful son Dominic. Hopefully I take you on the ride that is my life and you will have as much fun as I do.
