What I did this weekend 2.27.12

I have been working really hard to finish up my spring/summer items. There have been a lot of ups and downs but things are still on track. This weekend I wanted to relax and spend as much time with my family as I could, the mission was accomplised! Oh and I got a lot of sleep. This week promises to be full of work, family, and fun. I can't wait!

Chicago

I have lived in Chicago for the past seven years and I must say it's a fun place to live. I grew up in the suburbs and we really didn't visited the city very often. I never thought I would live here. I thought I would graduate from college, move some place cool, and be a rockstar; Or at least live like one. Reality has a funny way of changing your mind. Even though I don't live like a rockstar, I am still having fun exploring the city where I live. And, what's even better is now I get to see Chicago through the eyes of my son. He makes the most boring tasks seem fun. I can't wait to document our explorations and trips around the city when the weather gets warmer!

Night Out

I never go out but I am going to have drinks with a friend tonight and I thought this would be a cute outfit! I am starting to like brighter colors and I chose the leather jacket because its still a little chilly outside.

What I did this weekend 2.20.12

This weekend was very relaxing. We just finished recovering from the stomach flu so we spent the weekend shopping. I got a lovely new phone upgrade, Dom got some much need items, and I still got some work done.

Sick Baby

The past three weeks have been hard for my baby Dominic. He has had strep throat and now has the stomach flu. So, there has been no creative juices flowing unless I am trying to find ways to entertain a cranky baby. If anyone has any suggestions on how to my Dominic feel better I am open to any suggestions

Spring

1 & 2

Spring is fast approaching and I am getting Dominic ready with some new gear. When I saw this cute little Polo jacket and I couldn't let it go. It will be perfect for the playground or running around town. I also saw this cute jacket for my niece, La'Rayla.

It has been a couple weeks since I have had the time to say hello but I am back. I took sometime to spend with my baby because he was sick. Today we are running errands around out neighborhood and staying close to home. I am going to start introducing a lot of cool content to my blog so you can get a better sense of who I am.
